age 50.
- It may take 5-8 years for a tumor to grow to a detectable
size with other imaging methods.
- Infrared imaging is fast, non-contact, no radiation,
highly accurate temperature measurement.
All images are interpreted by Doctors trained and certified
by the ACCT (American College of Clinical Thermography) www.thermologyonline.org.
All reports are kept in a secured web site for certifed
thermographers. This allows secure access to your history
should you relocate to another part of the country.

Standard Images for Breast Screening

DITI's role in breast cancer and other breast disorders is to help in early detection
and monitoring of abnormal physiology and the establishment of risk factors for
the development or existence of cancer. When used with other procedures the best
possible evaluation of breast health is made.
Preparation on the Day of Imaging
- No smoking 2 hours prior to imaging.
- No prolonged exposure to strong sunlight/tanning prior to imaging.
- No physical therapy or electromyography.
- Do not use lotions or liniments.
What to expect during imaging, 15-20 minutes total
(All female patients are imaged by a female technician.)
- Change to gown from waist up. Fill out Client/History/HIPAA forms.
- Standard set of 5 images with Digital Infrared camera – 5 minutes.
- Questions with Thermographer.
